I was on the fence about buying a pellet BBQ range because I heat my house with pellets. But come to find out, the pellets for a stove are not the same as the pellets for the BBQ.

How much pellets do you burn in one of those BBQ. Were do you buy your fuel?

I get mine at alocal car lot thats also a dealer of traeger grills. Ace hardware also carries them. Depends on how hot your cooking but ball park my hopper full will burn about 28 to 30 hours , and i can fill it twice with a 20 # bag which runs around 20 $ .

they're pretty good. Since you live outside of wilmington, it will last longer than you lol

sticker shock for most folks, but it's not just the stainless you pay for, the gas control knobs actually control the rate, unlike cheap gas grills found else where.

they're right around the corner from where i worked, decent bunch of guys

I like the grill/smoker and indirect set-up. Not to mention the pellets and feeder/temp.controled. Need to buy it.

Can you imagine!! That's way too easy. You'd need a butler to go fetch your dinner with the timer beeps. BBQing just like the cowboys.

believe it or not, you can get a 300' wireless remote so you can cook from inside the house.

Yeah I have one. Cost around 50 buck. Comes with a probe and a sending unit. Inside you monitor the temp on a receiver. You set it for the type of meat you are cooking and it will beep when its get to temperature. You don't miss any football that way.
