Your comfort, Your way, Everyday!
GA's basic rules of home heating and AC upgrades:
*Installation is more important than the brand of equipment
*The duct system keeps the house comfortable; the equipment only heats and cools (and dehumidifies)
*The value of comfort, over the long term; leave economic choices behind!

You mean FCB (Frozen Carbonated Beverage) machines?
Good luck.
You'll NEED it.
Get a refractometer. You can thank me later.

Is a tool used to quickly determine the concentration of a fluid.
I have one for Glycol. A co-worker has one for Sucrose. I may be getting one for POE pretty soon.
I have done very little with them.
I didn't like them at all.
Get the refractometer.
Talk to a factory tech.
The "Brix" or syrup concentration in the mix is CRITICAL in achieving a proper freeze in these machines. Too rich and it won't freeze, too lean and it freezes too hard.
Many problems, at least around here, were on-going problems and were solved by fairly simple adustements to the Brix.
The refractometer is as important as your wrenches in checking out one of these machines.
If you want to get good at fixing them, come work for the 7/11 chain in Winnipeg MB, Canada.
According to 7/11 our city sold the most slurpees in the world for the 11th year in a row.
Worked on FCB Equipment for many years, I got to know them like the back of my hand. Refractometer is very important in order to adjust the brix, it can be challenging at times but some machines are easier than others, I personally loved working on Cornelius, Pinnacle's are the most troublesome to work on, Mag drives always go bad. Good luck.
pinnacle's huh??? u worked for ttc?
Are these the same as "THE ICEE" product?
I have one of these in a Subway, and have had very few problems with it. Maybe that is why I know NOTHING about it! haha. I dont even know the mfg. I guess maybe I should look into it better.
Your right, I know there are a lot of parts inside it.
The suryp is too expensive tho.

No acually I worked for The Icee Comp., and yes pinnacles are made by Cornelius. There a pain everything is all cramped together, no room to play.
i dont even know why they made that damn abortion of a machine. the v3plus or a v4 is much better of a machine
Starting with them soon..... Insight on ICEE?
I took care of 44 FCB units for 7-11, among other things, for 3 years ALONE. Took the Cornelius factory training. Main problem is lack of bi-annual major service: all seals changed, consdensers cleaned, that keeps 'em running, AFTER they are up to par. Once they let them go, they're disgusting.
