Here in Delaware, we've had a record 100+ degree-days!
Every Summer I lose 15 lbs. and put it back on in Winter.
Been consistently: 181/196 since I was 17 [I'm now 55]
This year has been a scorcher !!!!!

I lost 25# this year, it has been a warmer than usual summer here in HOTlanta.
In past years, I lost and gained it back in the fall/winter... this year will be different... (yeah, we all say that). My diet is similar to a few posters above; less fast food, less sugars/sweets, more veggies and fruits. I tend to eat light in the evening, this seems to help.
The reason I think this year will be different is I am not as hungry as I used to be... I seem to eat enough to sustain my energy needs, yet not eat until I am (over) full. I sense my body is 'getting used to' the lower weight, and I really do not want to 'eat too much' (like going to a Golden Corral).
If I can keep off most of the 25# this year, then another 25 next year will get me down to around 190-195, which is where I want to be. Doc says 175-180, but my body is just too chunky (big boned) for that.
One thing for sure; I feel a lot better without the weight. And my back does not hurt as much as it used to. I seem to have more energy to do things around the house without the weight.GA-HVAC-Tech
