any old timers here from the 90s or later

I was born in 53' ...... is THAT old enough?

Been breathing fosgene since late eighty.

I remember chasing kids with a hose on a white drum, upside down .... with a long white cloud being produced out the end.....

Is this what your referring to?

Couple guys here are even older than that! They remember using their old vac pump oil to top off their service trucks when they'd get low on lubricant.
They told me it sure beats blowin' the engine up.

One guy here's so old, he even brought over from the old country, a goat his family had kept for many years.
And now he's developing a new line of saddle ware for his animal so the beast can carry his tools around with him.
He can't quite get the old goat to follow him into an attic though.
But up ladders and onto the roofs ... no problem.

Jus do a look up search on the words; "old fart" and "old coot". I'm sure you'll discover there's plenty of grey hair at this site!

I think he's referring to a now defunct (large) supermarket contractor.

Jerrycoolsaz or Ned Flanders might know hat became of them. They're West Coast techs...

Kimmel Motz, GHV, and Scott Polar were acquired at the same time by Edison Source, the So Cal utility.
Everybody went from dirty looks to each other on the freeways to best of friends and life was great once upon a time.

    oops

Scott Polar/Kimmel-Motz were owned by Toromont .

I guess I shoulda' been more clear...sorry for the vaque response.

G.H.V. were just a bunch of animals ( refrigeration comandos ) , but alot of them ,I became very good buddies with who I still talk to regularly.

The owners of the old GHV have again started a new company and it is starting all over again.

We have a couple guys in construction from the old GHV. Nothing but good things to say about the owners. They keep saying they are going to go back.

    What's the new name?
