LOL! I just saw this thread....sorry I'm late.
Yes, I am the jerk. Dash was on my friend list for a long time and I noticed he was no longer marked as a friend. So I hit the button that requests friendship because I didn't want dash thinking I had stopped us from being listed as friends. I guess it was dash who took me off of his friend list.
I have not sent any emails though.
