I certainly would not want to live in a world without liberal thinking. Liberals are creators of art, music and poetry, all of which enriches our souls. What we need to get rid of is dividing ourselves between liberals and conservatives and everyone embrace the idealogy that best suits the situation.

Well then we should restrict them to the arts and ban them from having anything to do with education our kids or working in policy making positions. Let them be salesmen since they are able to sell ice cream to Eskimos with all their fraudulent socialist schemes. Thank you, thank you very much

Or, we could all stop striving to either liberal or conservative and work on being our best in both catagories for the situations that call for one or the other thougt process. In other words, we should strive to be more open minded centrists so we can progress without offending.

I hear that a lot from people I talk with. It is very freeing. Everyone has an explicit right to their own beliefs, I am just glad that by taking the time and listening to my own thoughts and processing all the information available I was able to come to this decision.

Very true, it is more of a social gathering than anything else....it just seems like such a facade to me. I know there are people who go with great intentions but for the most part it is to just make an appearance.
