Tare weight of R-12 and R-22 30 lbs net cylidner?
Could someone post the tare weight or the gross weight(total) of a typical R-12 and R-22 30 lbs cylinder?

The weights aren't the same because the different manufacturers use different cylinders.

usually around 6 LBS but it varies a little

Why does that matter? If you weigh it when you remove it and log it or either write it on the cylinder the tare weight is pointless.

Any of you guys make some big honking wind chimes with empty cylinders?
that seems like it would be a neat addition to the patio or man cave.
A little monofilament, some 1x2s and whamo, instant conversation piece.
