    Oops
Ed I did not and was not questioing your credintials.
My answer is factual having installed several of these units.
Although I did have a senior moment my bad I meant to say PATCO and they are made in New Jersey.

I happen to have a Patco furnace and it says Majic Chef right on it. Sorry !!! do a search under Patco. Also they just reintroduced replacement units for those thru the wall units using the existing sleeve.

Now that should help and their still in business. If I find their phone # I'll place it here. Once again sorry for the misinfo wasn't intentionl. getting older sucks.

    ED,
I don't know who manufactures Magic Chef, but if you're in Mass. check with The Portland Group for info. I get replacement parts for these units thru the Billerica branch.
