Hi, I want to build a table to keep salads chilled in a buffet area this table should fit in a 8'x4' area and will display mainly butter jams and fruit for breakfast, salads and desserts for lunch and dinner does anyone have any ideas?.

    Yeah.

    Forget it.

Tables like that are difficult at best. Different foods with different textures and freezing points make for a tough to balance out system.

I beat my head off a wall on one about a year or so ago. Mfr was out, set it up exactly as they required and it STILL isn't right.

Maybe I'm just biased, though. I've never seen one that works well.
