auto air conditioner problem
While at the local watering hole yesterday, a stranger walked in, ordered a beer, and asked if anyone there knew anything about auto air conditioners. I told him I worked on my own, but don't do it for a living; I asked him what was wrong.
He said it wasn't cooling properly, and he thought it was low on freon. I asked him what refrigerant it was, and he thought it was old enough to have R-12 in it. Told him the only R-12 I have is reserved for my 1938-vintage refrigerator, and that the system needed to be converted to R-134. He said he didn't have the money, said "Oh, well - - -", and left.
As he drove away, I went to the door to see what he was driving, and managed to get this shot with my camera phone - - - - -

It looks like that system was designed by Red Green.
