Oh, I"m not looking to replace my current home's CZ II system. It works great. I am deciding what to put in a new home that we are constructing now - either CZ II or Infinity. I'm familiar with CZ II so would be happy with that. But, the Infinity system and zoning looks even better. It does cost more - and I have yet to see the cost differential. But, I'm definitely leaning that way.

I may contact you offline. Thanks. I have a limited selected of contractors to select from that my builder is willing to use. I'm kind of at their mercy. The one I'm working with now seems pretty good though - we'll see.

I have not seen this thread for awhile...

Just my two cents, if I was building today I would install Infinity zoning.

I also have CZII in my current home and it works great. My only complaint is that it is not real user friendly for setting up the program mode.

I have messed up my program schedule on more than one occasion! lol

The Infinity is much more user friendly, with added features.

    That’s a homeowner function! lol

I learned long ago I am not programming a homeowner’s thermostat or zoning. Because when it is 6 minutes off or not exactly 70 degree’s at 8AM it’s my problem.

You live here; set your own damn programming!

I have information which may be helpful to you about pricing (wholesale prices). I cannot discuss it here. My wife worked for United Technologies that owns Carrier--we were able to get pricing info. This was helpful information with bids that we received from different AC and Heating Contractors.

Please email me if you are interested
