DIY is never a good thing, but when it's stuff like a boiler, it's a really bad thing.
Not that a chiller or A/C system couldn't do some damage, but generally it's usually contained to the person working on the stuff.

There is a series of photos AFTER a boiler explosion that look to be related to the report posted in this thread. Not sure if the video in the OP is the same...
