Damn..... I don't visit or post much on here anymore. So I'm just finding out about Carnak.
My very 1st post on here I was ranting and ragging on engineers. Mr Carnak introduced himself and proceeded to tear me a new one. From that shaky start we developed a mutual respect. I'll miss him. RIP He was a good engineer and a decent human being. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

I still think of the good times we had together almost daily. Still pretty bumbed about it.
Your poor planning does not constitute an emergency on my part!!!!

What sad news. RIP Murray. As others have said, his knowledge was vast and it was always articulated with grace in this forum. His wit will be missed. I never met him but he seemed like a great guy.

This post came in my email last night. I read "Carnaks" obit and remembered how knowledgeable his responses were.
Here is a quote from the memorial:
"Murray’s specialties were solving humidity and mold problems. Murray was able to source the root causes of problems and routinely uncover significant energy savings that are easy to implement. "
The last post was from April and I got it today?

There was a spammer that hit this Memorial area. He posted in all the threads here.
HeyBob took him out behind the barn and beat the sh*t out of him then banned him for good measure. Just got finished banning his IP too.
12-14-2011, 08:50 AM #78This year has been a bad year. I lost some people around me that were part of my life.
Mr. Carnak was not my friend and we were at odds on this here site. Never the less, I do recognize the fact that he was an asset to this forum and is missed.
Arpa is another that left this realm for the next. He was a good guy as well and is another missed soul.
