1961. wow I didn't think he was that young, he was so knowledgeable that I thought he was a bit older. I didn't know him but I really loved following his posts, such a great wealth of information.

Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

Murray and I are kindred spirits in this regard. I have confidence his life and work, cut tragically short, has and will inspire many in our profession to strive toward learning "how something really works".

    You all are.

Guys like you and you over there and the others to come. Mentors aren't born they are driven to give of themselves. Study and give back so you can help others to grow. That's what this forum is about guys, people like Murry and Bruce gave unconditionally.

    i can't believe it.

i've been out with drinking with Murray a couple of times when he passed through this area, once with the wives. real nice people, him and his wife.

he was a wealth of information.. easily one of the smartest on this board.

    i'm gonna miss him.

he's probably gonna install some of that $hitty duct board in heaven.

    RIP Carnak.

I never met Murray, but shared quite a few pm's and emails with him over the years. I kept joking he should put on a "seminar" in the Caymans so I could visit, but never made it happen. He will be missed.
Trust me, I know what I'm doing.

I met Murray a couple winters ago. We went out drinking then met up at the Chicago Expo the next day. Great Guy! I just talked to him on the phone about a month ago, I can't believe this. You're definately going to be missed buddy.

As I remember it, I staggered across the street to the hotel around 1 am; You, Murray, and maybe a couple others shut the place down........

It was just him and I that shut the place down. As a mattrer of fact, they locked the doors and let us stay for about an extra hour. I actually forgot about that.

Another sad day for HVAC-Talk. And another professional with a wealth of knowledge to share. Again, at a much to early age.

    RIP
