The President must explain why he allowed Hurricane Ivan to wreak such havoc. He had plenty of warning and did nothing to stop it. I think it was clearly a scheme divised by Carl Rove and Dick Cheney to make money from the sale of ice and candles. The bastards are clearly connected with big ice and big candles. I am waiting for John Kerry to explain how he would have saved Florida and all the other affected states from the ravages of Ivan.

Kerry already solved the problem , he is going to increase taxes on tropical depressions , so they can not afford to become hurricanes

I'm sure glad I bought into that ice and candle stock back in July. I'm rollin' in bucks now.
That's why I'm votin' fer W!No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

He could stand on the beach in Miami and make a campaign speach and the hotair would disipate any future tropical storms.

Well!!! first Kerry would have gone to the U.N. for a resolution commmanding IVAN to turn back and release it's rain into the ocean.
If that didn't work he would have began diplomatic relations with IVAN trying to create a sense of calm and passiveness, showing IVAN our softer side in the hopes that IVAN would notice and turn back.

Ya, that would worked at least as well anything Bush has done and 1027 soldiers would be alive and another 7000 would have all their body parts.Originally posted by bobby7388

That comeback was very lame john, I don't know if you really believe in what you say or you're just following the pack.
U.N. resolutions/embargos are a joke, Sudan, Iran, N.Korea. They do nothing more than buy time for the violators to find a way around them. Only Libya has figured out so far that the fight just isn't worth it anymore, and you have to ask yourself, why now?
Your the kind of guy that probably believes Kerry when he says, Every attack will be meet with a response attack(or something to that end), what is this, tit for tat?
This pascifist attitude of yours is dangerous, peace, not war, right? Why can't we all just live happily ever after with Dorothy and Toto in Kansas.
This is the RealWorld john, wake up.

I am amazed at the ignorance and arrogance of you lefties. I had drill this weekend and we had a meeting with VADM John Cotton and he was telling us about the good work we are doing in Iraq. It was necessary that we took out Saddam and took the fight to the middle-east instead of sticking our heads in the sand and waiting for the fight to come to us. 1027 soldiers dying for a cause that they believe in is much better than over 3,000 innocent civilians dying for a cause that the terrorist believe in. There are things going on in this war on terror that you have no clue about. President Bush has done an extraordinary job and has the support of the troops from the bottom up. You sit there in your monday morning quarterback chair and listen to the biased halftruths or bald faced lies spewed from Dan Rather and all his ilk in the so called news media and think you know the whole story. Then you go forth and propogate the lies, catchy slogans, and one liners of your leftist heroes. You think you are so intelligent but your whole argument is based on ignorance and you arrogance. John Kerry was a sorry Naval Officer and only out for himself, And he is unfit to be the Commander in Chief.
