They say that no question is a stupid question, so sorry if I finally found one.

The home builder is installing a comfortmaker and in looking at Comfortmaker's website, nowhere can I find an air cleaner on their website. To me I see this as they don't make them.

So since Comfortmaker is ICP -> United Technologies, does that mean I can look at Carrier/Bryant air cleaners? or only 3rd party manufacturers?

Since I haven't seen anywhere Comfortmaker has a thermostat 'of their own', I'm assuming the HVAC installer for the builder will put an off-the-shelf unit. I mention this because ideally I would want the air cleaner have some communication to the thermostat.

Any help, suggestions would be great.
