    We have the USS Silversides sitting in the Muskegon Lake channel. It is a museum and has tours. Also has Carrier forced air heating installed in inconspicuous locations about the sub to keep it from freezing.

    USS Croaker

    If you are in or passing thru Buffalo NY, check out the USS Croaker at the naval park on the waterfront. When you walk thru her, you are amazed how people could live in such confined spaces.

    Thanks doesn't quite cover it for that link. Spent a couple hours already on that. Just gives you the time to look in depth, more so than the tour I bet.
