Yes they were running these....
Wow.....these pictures bring back memories.
Was going through some old disks I had, and found one with photos when I first started.
A boiler that failed state inspection after one year.....
After repairs.....
Yes they were running these....

Wow, I bet those were fun memories eh?
I'm completely boiler oblivious, but is the reason the boiler failed because of corosion and that motor just sitting on the pipe?
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."
"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."
"Just get it done son."

Yes, all the corrosion is water leaks. Also, the expansion tank wasn't big enough, so there was the hourly blow off. You can't tell by the picks, but the LWCO wasn't wired in.
Look closely....that motor was sitting on the gas line that feed the water heater. It was actually cutting into the pipe.
what the heck did they use to seal their piping, spit??
ahh, missed the part about it being 1 year after install. That sucks. Yeah, I see where it's cutting into the gas. LWCO, why wouldn't you want it to dry fire? We had a guy change out all but 2 boiler sections (old MASSIVE steam) and didn't check/replace the LWCO. 3 days later he had to replace the same sections he just replaced. Only reason I remember is I acted as muscle :-\
How often you find LWCO not wired in/broken?
