Was that vane alignment and welding before or after the repair.

I love those old Trane Centravacs! I'd check the diaphram inside of that Johnson D251 Damper/Vane control for leaks. It's looks like it has never been worked on. The pilot positioner is new though.

Yeah!!!! The old Tranes were awesome in their day. The old bench grinders would flat haul the load. This one just needed a little TLC.

Try the oraface plate. I'll bet you find some chunks there. I bet that made one hell of a racket.

freonrick; ithink 5 were cracked. customer decided that they could get some machine shop to repair. well they did a great job of replacing the vanes but i spent almost a day
cleaning and reassembling so they would move freely
acj: funny
delta: i work for jci. we got lotsa techs to check stuff like that. fyi this machine is totally controlled by a dx9100
cool: this 600t still puts out about 450t even with lotsa condenser tubes plugged. metasys calulates tonnage using flow & temp measurments
weez: no plate two floats. checked both. checked liquid drain from cond., economizer etc. used one of those fiber optic snake viewers.
math: got lots discs?
