    I really hate to even ask this but do you know how many amps the compressor is drawing? How about a model number? Temps?

    lol dont worry, electrical is more my field, i have it all written down but its all in my truck

    yes. im only one class from my associates.. i just need this duct construction class and im off to Ferris

    A few thoughts.. OK maybe a hint..

    Refrigerant
    Temperature
    Pressure

    If you know two of them, you know what the third SHOULD be.. (Usually).

    If the third is not right then one of the others is not right.

    Have you verified your readings using a different set of guages? I would be EXTREMLY careful on this one. Your pressure is off the charts.

    I've had that happen before. Put the guages on and the high side gauge sprung on me making me think I had high head pressure. Told the customer I would have to come back due to prior service commitment. Put my gauges on at the next service call and see the same pressure reading. Oops. First customer was greatly relieved to find out there was no problem.

    He said BOTH gauges went full over. Cant imagine both going at the same time.
