I could not tell you. Both are staged to try to look real. Both convince people that they are real.
I quess the real difference is:
reality TV is supposed to be entertaining and does not effect my life after the TV is off.
Political ads are supposed to be informative and they will effect my life after the election is over.
If the superheat ain't right it ain't charged right.
