HVAC replacement estimate question
Hello everyone,
First off I am new and found this forum searching for model numbers.
I had a company come out and evaluate my home for HVAC replacement.
It is a 2 story home with 1686 square ft with about 600 square feet upstairs.
This is the estimate I received and I have never had a unit replaced so I
was wondering if this was a reasonable quote.
I have other quotes from other dealers and I understand the equipment makes a huge difference in price but this quote seems ok with the equipment listed. Please let me know if I am way off. I live in the South East so A/C is more important than heat to me.
Thanks...

You are going to get Yelled at.. You CAN NOT POST PRICES HERE... It is not the equipment that makes the difference, its the person that installs it. You can take a million dollar system and put on a POS duct system and all you have is a million dollar POS...
Hope this helps,
Chad

Tazmzan, one of the moderators will X out the pricing, a lot of people make that mistake, and pricing varies for different regions so I won't comment on it. However, you are being converted from R22 to R410a refrigerant, I would recommend that the line set be replace with the rest of the equipment and not just flushed out.
Some might question the sizing for that square footage. Be sure they sized up your house properly. If it doesn't go easy, you are not using a big enough hammer.
