We are Carrier, and our distributor truck shows up with Carrier and Bryant tags big as day. When we go to classes they always reference Carrier numbers, and then "for all you Bryant dealers" the Bryant numbers.

There is absolutlety no difference between the two in many instances. We are a hands down, top dog, award winning Carrier dealer for many a year - but we have never aquired a piece of Bryant equipment. But then again...why would we?

If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

I am glad I read down before I commented. From reading this it looks like it is easier to sell different brands than it used to be!

Did Carrier manufacture the gas fired water chillers and brand them as Carrier and Bryant, or was the technology licensed from Electrolux/Arkla-Servel etc.? The reason I ask is many years a go a friend had such a system in Gardena California.

About once a year, a spider would build a web in front of the orifice of the chiller and of course cause it not to light.
