All I got was one question about the Stamp Act, which, interesting enough takes me back many years when that area of the country actually had stamps as part of their taxing procedures.

Even when purchasing a home in Maryland Stamps were attacked to the deed stating that the sales & purchasing taxes had been paid. They the stamps were glued on to the deed.

Other stuff had it too but that was way to long ago for me to remember.

Two incorrect, on the playwright historian and the baroness.

They were not covered in my 1960's history class. I think the baroness deserved a look, though.

Stamps! Liquor bottels in Maryland had to have stamps on them to be official. If anyone found you with a liquor bottle without the tax stamps you were in big trouble. This was way back when.

    Talking Rev. War

missed the Calif. question, which btw has nothing to do with the Revolution and used one answer that is too close. Guess you have to be from Calif to appreciate the Rev. War---not!

BTW, I used to re-enact Rev War battles. We built two cannons from scratch, which the Nat'l Park Service said were the most authentic copies they had ever seen. We built a powder magazine per the ATF and used to shoot live ammo at a clay pit. I was in the Yorktown celebration in 1981.
