This could get interesting.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

It's not posted there either... the strike is about Nationals voting like they actually go out on strike.
The MCA wants give backs. and wage freeze. If it doesn't go easy, you are not using a big enough hammer.

Ohhh, a wage freeze and give backs in the face of uncertain economic times, we can't have that!
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

Heaven forbid that someone with a contract might have to suffer the same things as the rest of us.
The NJ teachers had an opportunity to agree to a one-year pay freeze, and now they are howling (and spending $7 mil of the member's dues) to complain about a new governor actually doing what he campaigned on, because the state is facing $11 Billion in deficits.[Avatar photo from a Florida training accident. Everyone walked away.]

And how about California reducing salaries from $65,000 to $15,000 (for state workers) a year by mandating the minumum wage law. Even managers are caught up in that one with salary cuts to $455.00 a week.It won't be long before we are all paying for that.
I was looking to hear more from those who are in the know about this perticular strike rather then a from bunch of freon jockeys offering opinions that don't relate to the subject. But what the heck it's all in fun work is slow for most of us, and on a nice saturday afternoon the internet is far better then the beach.
Maxtor you are absolutely right "call the uncle"If it doesn't go easy, you are not using a big enough hammer.
