Im looking for advice on whether or not this is worth it. Im 23 years old recently laid off from operating heavy machinery and looking to get in another field of work. I just want to know if this course covers everything that is needed and that the certifications it offers are the ones that are wanted. Also anyone ever complete a course like this and end up with a decent job? Any input advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Its a 600 hour course and costs $5995 but I got student aid and its only going to cost me about $1800.

Hi there. I looked at the polaris site. I didn't see anywhere that they were an accredited school. the price seems a little low too. I am going to the new castle school of trades, just east of youngstown, OH in PA. They are an accredited school an tuition is around $19K. It is an associates degree program, we take some math, business and computer classes as well as our core dept. It looks like they do offer EPA 608 certification, so thats good.

600 hours is light. But if they teach what they say. Its a good course.
Not many schools actually teach anything about air side diagnostics. Something which is definitely needed. But very lacking in our trade.

They are accredited I made sure of that =). Not sure what it means Ill have to look more into it. Thanks for replying guys
