Confused trouble with split system. low suction.

Got a trane split system that's about 10 years old that I was sent to change the compressor on just because the town maint. Guy wanted to. Changed it then charged system and problems popped up. First of all the condenser is oversized. 5 ton and ahu is 3.5 ton. Wtf. Suction pressure is low 43 psig.70 ambient temp. 200 psig liquid press. Have 22 superheat at evap and 19 subcooling.28 delta tee across evap. Kindahigh airflow. What will happen with an oversized condenser ? Please help. Txv system

Yes I'm a contractor. Warranty is out the window. Just curious of symptoms associated with this.

    I like these humorous threads.

How would a home owner know what delta T is? Many by reading on this forum.
Same as for SH, SC, Approach, CTOA, DB, WD, DP, ESP, TESP, Th, and a several other abreviations.

    Bora.

It helps if you fill out your profile.

Get your post count up to 15 and apply for pro membership. Once accepted, you'll have access to the pro forums. Where we sometimes talk at great lengths about these types of things. And sometimes, we even talk about technical things in the technical forum.

Everyone knows that all you need to do is adjust the subheat reading to make it work.

While some of the Pro members have answered in a less then complimenting manor. Which can be taken wrong by many.

They do know what they are talking about. And are well respected.

Please don't change their names to insults.

    I have edited some post.
