Confused trouble with split system. low suction.

Got a trane split system that's about 10 years old that I was sent to change the compressor on just because the town maint. Guy wanted to. Changed it then charged system and problems popped up. First of all the condenser is oversized. 5 ton and ahu is 3.5 ton. Wtf. Suction pressure is low 43 psig.70 ambient temp. 200 psig liquid press. Have 22 superheat at evap and 19 subcooling.28 delta tee across evap. Kindahigh airflow. What will happen with an oversized condenser ? Please help. Txv system

Yes I'm a contractor. Warranty is out the window. Just curious of symptoms associated with this.

If you're a contractor, why knowingly do something that's wrong?
A job like this, you should have walked away from. Or, made them do it right.
Hope you got paid in advance.

Why r u jumping on me if u don't know the story. All I want is answer to question.not u questioning the job. If u need to know I was sent to the job to replace the compressor somebody else shot down a year ago. I replaced it like I was told then while running it I found problem.

    Heres your answer.

5 ton condenser + 3.5 ton coil and Air handler= not enough airflow.

Which would b low suction, high delta t across evap, low head, high superheat. Nice. Now they have to replace everything. Wow.

You should already know the answer to this bub. There are no right answers without complete information. See what happened to you?"

You have the ol "did the job before I looked at the system" alligator bite you on the ass enough times, you will learn the value of complete info every time.
