heat pump equal pressure problems
ok so i was working on a heat pump and on start up pressures stay the same equalized amp draws on compresser 7 amps not to noisy after about 5 minutes my pressures changed to chart specific pressures but if power is turned off to unit and reapplied system does the same thing no noise from rv no restriction on filter dryer one manufacture rep said rv another said compresser im leaning towards compresser it is a scroll compresser if anyone else has seen this let me know thanks also all 3 lines out the top of rv are all same temp

I vote reversing valve. What brand of HP?

Brand, model and serial would help, along with a period or two in that run-on sentence - 'cause I can't really make out what you're saying.
Would this be an Armstrong HP?"Hey Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort." And he says, "there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice. - Carl Spackler

heat pump
my bad with the run on sentence. its a lennox hpx15 3 ton system . reversing valve makes no noise what so ever was told by manufacture that i should see some pressure even if stuck in dead center. equalizes at 175 system running or not. as if compresser is not pumping, compresser never goes out on thermal

Drop out ur outdoor fan motor to make ur head pressure rise. See if ur reversing valve will switch.

well i'm not an expert on hvac.... i do transport refrigeration.. and we also have scroll compressors in some of our units. one thing you have to remember is scroll compressors are extremely sensitive and usually if failed or starting to fail they will over heat therefore it should be shutting down on thermal overload if the compressor is failed so i would lean toward this RV thing you are talking about...
