    Can anyone tell me the formula for determining BTU output from a register? If you know the CFM and you know the Temperature difference, we should be able to calculate the BTU. Maybe like:

    BTU = CFM * Delta T * ?

    one way might be

    BTU per room = (Total BTU output x room cfm)divided by total CFM
