I was rude long before I became marginally proficient.
I, on the other hand, am quite proficient at being marginal

Man, who crapped in your Cheerios this morning?

Something you'll learn about yourself as you get older (I'm assuming you're a bit younger than the "hard ass, flat top, old school white boy", hence your gripe) is that with time you cease to really give a s*** about what others think about you. When that happens you also see how silly it is to ride hobby horses, especially dead ones.

When I was green and young in this trade I had to learn quickly that you take your crap from the older guys and go on with life. Otherwise you'll just get gray hairs long before you should.

    • Refrigeration makes the HVAC psychrometric process happen.
    • HVAC pyschrometrics is what makes indoor human comfort happen...IF the ducts AND the building envelope cooperate.

Shophound, that was some *priceless* advice. I just wished you wouldn't have started it with that Cheerios business, I'm still cleaning up the decaf I spewed all over my monitor

Now that I have met you in person, I can say with some authority that you are not that old.

Glad to see you made it home alright. We just got in.
