    service agreement???

Good friend of mine had a company 1 year ago come out and put in an entire system...clean the ducts and run some new line as well...with his purchase came a 2 year("free") service agreement. The company has now gone out of business and he is coming up on his service...isn't there a "sub"company that is either part of the finance or warrt.that takes over for these service agreements when A/C companies go out?

those kinds of service agreement are only provided by the installing company no manufacture that I'm aware of offers any service agreements for maintenance. The only thing he may have is the warranty on the parts.

if they were indeed bought out your friend should contact the buyer. they may work something out w/ your friend. worth a shot.
