PN of DC motor in Carrier 58MVB high efficiency furnace

    Hello,

Can anyone provide me the part number of the DC motors (both the blower and inducer draft motors) used in the Carrier 58MVB high variable capacity condensing gas furnace so that I don't have to take my furnace apart. I'd like to get spares, just in case.

Thanks for any help in identifying them.

You won't need a spare. I've run mine on constant fan for 18 years 24/7.
The furnace will wear out before the motor.

No help here given to the DIY crowd.
Not as lean, not as mean, but I'm still a hardcore, ass-kicking, hard charging Marine! Oohrah!

As for being part of the DIY crowd, I'm an electrical engineer and am fully qualified to do it myself as I design systems.

    Todd S 2,

Thanks for your experience. I've just heard from a few local pros that they've seen failures and I like to be prepared.
