    hello i'm new here and have a couple of questions about compressors
    #1 anyone know any good websites on the anatomy of a hvac compressor
    #2 is there a formula or something to dtermine the rla of a compressor, most all the ones we work on does not include rla on the nameplate"they all do include lra of course"¿?¿

    I don't know, but how in the hell do you make those upside down question marks???

    Try to do a search here for the compressor info, seems like this may have been discussed.

    Yeah if you tell me about those question marks, I'll tell you to search compressor curves.

    upside down ?'s or better known in the computer industry as inverted ¿ are accomplished by holding down the alt key and then pressing 1 6 8 on the numeric pad; hence the "key phrase" is hold down the alt key during the whole time ur pressing 1 6 8 ¿?¿ also different # combos achieve different symbols ►►ä☺

    i done a search on compressor curves and had no real luck so if anyone could give me a little more specific direction to finding out this info would be greatly appreciated...hope the ? info was some help...i got a 2yr degree in computer networking and it from the high tech institute of atlanta last year and they taught some quite interesting tricks with computers...to bad i found i enjoyed hvac more while i was going to school at night right...
