Been there 2 months, so far so good, no problems and it beats the crap out of unemployment. The answer to your question is how do you cope with very large company issues and the systems they may implement at any given time, just because some idiot behind a desk thought it may be a good idea? If your coming from a small shop it's going to be a culture shock so be prepared. The other way to answer your question is talk to some mechanics at the branch and talk to your BA. The old York guys are not as happy as the old Johnson guys but that is to be expected and they have that right. But a vast majority of them are still there.
No matter where I worked in the last 30 years I have noticed there are 3 types of mechanics.
1. Guys that really like who they work for.
2. Guys that hate who they work for and complain about everything.
3. Guys that just go to work everyday and just go with the flow.
I have been all 3 at different points in my career and right now I am a #3, and yes we have all of the above at my branch too.
