I had a Traulsen sliding two door beer cooler go down right at the end of the day.
unit was running and box temp was 53°,compressor was so hot you couldn't touch it.
Suction line was warm to the touch and the discharge line was just warm.
suction pressure was 50 psig and high side was 100psig.
I think the valves are gone on this unit.what do you think with info provided?
going to change out compressor and condensor unit in the morning.

before changing the units ask 2 questions
1 what took the compressor out (vlaves gone)
2 is it, in fact, the right unit in the first place

This cooler is located in a service bar on a Casino River Boat and the doors are constantly opened and closed or sometime just left open for long periods of time.
This cooler has a TVX if I'm not mistaken.

Bad TXV
changed out compressor and condenser unit this morning and evacuated, recharged.
started unit up and head pressure started to climb to 400psig. shut unit down and recovered charge, changed out TXV and recharged unit.
The unit is cooling really well. Bad TXV probably took out last compressor.
Thanks for help
