Every once in a while, a neighboring business in our shopping center (a restaurant) has a nasty habbit of leaving
either a gas stove burner or pilot light on overnignt w/o being lit. This creates a nasty natural gas smell in our business when we open at 9AM. The restaurant people don't come in untill 4PM, and probabally couldn't care less when they come in, because they either light the thing, or turn it off, turn on their ventilation fan, and open the back door.
Q: Is there a Natural Gas detector I can install in MY business that can trigger an alarm or scream like a Nighthawk CO detector, so I can call them in the middle of the night or early AM, and make them come in and shut their leak off?
This would be good for home use too, don't you think?

Get this...
Knew a tech that didn't get paid once. He removed the gas meter and filled their house gas line with expanding foam and put the meter back.
OUCH!

I know, I know, That would be the ultimate attention getter, but we are _must_ stay friends with our "neighbors".
I'd be glad to call the owner in the middle of the night a few times to get up and go into work and shut things off.
THAT in my opinion might work out best.
