grrrr back on the fireplace kick again ?'s
My wife really wants a gas fp in our lr. The room is 12 x 20 and the only wall for the fp is on the 12ft wall that seperates the garage from the house.
I was thinking of a small fp that I could bump out into the garage and tap into the unused masonary chimney. Problem is I need one that is about 30" wide because there is an entry door coming into the garage I dont want to hit when opened.
Now we like the Mendota but the only narrow one is the arched top one and im not sure that would look too cool.
Any ideas ??

yea even with a corner unit we only have to corners, one would come out in the garage next to the chimney, the other would come out the front of the house right next to the door

I may just bump half way out and half way in ?? Its hard finding a unit the right BTU also, I dont want to make the LR 90 degs

Most DV's are adjustable. You can turn down the flames or use a thermostatic remote to control the temps.
Common sense is NOT common !!!
