Your right there robo. I knew a Pakistani engineer with a master degree in Chemical engineering and with a high paying job and was considered a "moderate" and also very religious. Went to the Mosque every Friday and said his prayers 5 times a day every day. I asked him about Salman Rushdie and he told me that if he had the opportunity that he would kill him himself. Well there you have it. None of the "religious" Muslims are moderates. They are all fanatics. Thank you, thank you very much

"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them."

Islam is a cult, not a religion.
I draw all my schematics in crayon now. If they cannot always be correct, they can at least be colorful.

If the fall is over, mmmm let's say, 6 feet or so,.. I do not 'bounce' very well.

I think you would do better to look up what the term "cult" means.
For those who have no belief system, I highly recommend you read C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity". As a matter of fact, if you have not read Mere Christianity, you really cannot speak intelligently on the subject.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

No. I define cult based on erratic actions. Suicide bombings, beheadings, stonings, and sharia law pursuit,... stuff like that.
If you want to worship a frog-god, I can pretty much let that go. Oh well, good luck with that.
But when you develop a subversive political entity within my national borders then that is sedition, and under the guise of an honor-murdering policing activity then that is a cult.
Just so we got our definitions clear there Roy. I was not trying to convert you or anything.

so wgrr
wgrr posted "Until the Progressives nationalize it. who proposed that? Obama and his administration are anything but Progressive. "
So wgrr, what would you call the Obama administration? Communist? Socialistic? Statist? fascist? Your heroes? My comment was based upon his steady march on capitalism by nationalizing the auto industry and banking where he can. Looks like the oil company's are in his sights, too.Keep the fire inside the fireplace.

I think if you go back in history you will find similar fanatisism in the christian religion.
I also believe in time islam will either moderate or it will destroy itself. It will not survive the modern world without moderating.
And btw you cant convert me, I'm an NDE'r.

Not at all. It's also not a Christian act. Just because bad people claiming to be Christians commit ungodly acts does not reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, only the evils that men do.
Please; read Mere Christianity and let me know what you think of it. I promise that whether you are a Christian, a pagan, an atheist or just don't really think much about spirituality at all, you will enjoy the book.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV
