The cable company and me

Well, My high speed internet connection has been cut off. I thought it was broken when I called.

Dude said, Nope it was shut off for non payment.

What?


Well it all started when I had a $45 list of pay per view movies on mays bill and then another $34 on junes.

I called two weeks ago to set them straight. I have all these pay per views that I did not order and some of them were for the same day at the same time.

Dude asks, "is there anyone else in the house that can order them?"

I said, "If my 20 month old son and 3 year old daughter are ordering playboy and spice then we have a problem"

BTW I pay electronically every month on the same day at the same time. They want their pay per view money.

I have this 2300 sq. ft. building out back of my house. It used to be my shop before we bought this place.

Anyway for the last 4 years I was renting it to a magazine company for them to store vehicles in. Well they moved out. But the very next month I signed a lease with our local cable company for $100. bucks more a month. Besides they give me all their air conditioning work.

I love my cable company.

That's why I went on vacation for the holiday.

And I didn't yell at the cable dude, I just told him like it was.

I'm looking into DSL now. BUT it's not available in my area so I put a for sale sign on my house! ( just kidding)

Just as I made my last post, the cable guy showed up to collect the digital box and cable modem and a check.

he got 2 out of 3

He said I would have cable tv for about 2 more weeks because he didn't want to climb the pole. Works for me.

Call the king of cable company...surely you can get them to accept the fact you didn't order the stuff...if not, good luck with dsl, without my cable internet...I'd probably go crazy....wait, I'm already crazy...I'd be real unhappy...

With the Lakeeerie post going on, is it possible. Even as far remote a possibility. Just a smidgen of chance. That your old lady is watching that while your working??

I asked her and she denied it.

there were 3 movies for the same day and time. however the time was 2 pm. I guess she could have been channel surfing...Hmmmm
