I didnt realize it was that big of pipe, i assumed ten inch or maybe twelve. I still think those numbers are low. I liked the idea of puming the mix into tankers, what happened to that idea? i guess that would be too easy. wouldn the water just go up the flare anyway? i gotta imagine it wouldnt condense in a frack tower. fill those tankers, pump that crap through an old refinery, crack the crude and send the crud up the flare. what part am i missing?

Just put a wedding ring around it or fill it with wedding cake. They will both stop any flowing.

The fitting placed on the pipe a couple of weeks ago is collecting a lot of oil that is being pumped into barges. There is so much nat gas in this mix that they had to place a gas flare on the pumping barge. That's part of the problem. There is so much pressure in the area where the drill penetrates the field, much more than was anticipated, that the nat gas shot up the pipe and caused the massive fire that destroyed the rig.

Since not all of the oil can be collected using the present system, it is imperative to drill relief wells that will allow more oil and nat gas to be recovered, which will slow down the loss rate at the well that is in trouble.

Gallons of what? I keep hearing guesses of how much oil AND gas. How much gas is in a gallon? Its a gas, gasses conform to the shape AND VOLUME of any container. A gallon of oil and gas is an utterly useless measurement. Libtards in the media don't have enough sense and don't care about the truth enough to realize they are spewing nonsense when they give numbers.
