Well its a year since I posted the above thread.
I can say that I am certainly not any richer, but our lives have changed alot.
My wife and I started are own home based business which
which has made us some nice part time income.
Its has allowed us to get my wife out of the city and 5 min from home. She had to take a pay cut. I'm sure there are other guys on this forum that are looking for a way out of the daily grind. We work hard every day, why not work just as hard in our spare time to build an asset that will set us free.
I have found that dreamers are looked down upon in most circles. This includes my immediate family. That being said, I'm fortunate to have had this forum to help me out of some tuff jams and learn alot along the way.
Now I have three jobs and couldn't be more satisfied about the direction our life has taken.

Thanks Dow, Dice, Abs,Dave, Boss for keeping me in check.

I have been self employed for 12 years. Worked for a great company for 11 years prior to that. Starting my own business has been amazing, quality of life is way up there and I have told a few jerks where to go and a couple of them where they could stick MY money when they did not want to pay me for a job. I create and solve my own headaches. No one tells me what I have to work on.

Did I miss something or are you going to tell us what the home business is?

Actually, I didn't want to spam or market my part time business on this site.
I still am a full time service tech with local 597.
I would however be more than happy to share for those who would be interested in generating some part time cash.
Dice, your response last year is really what helped me turn the corner and take some more risks. My wife nearly
came unglued. She thought I was having a mid-life crisis.
I must have talked with 50 different people who were more successful than myself. I took alot of notes, and they all had one thing in common.
All of them were willing to do what most of us won't.
Anywho, I can't stand to listen to myself type.
    Thanks again.
