Data sheet model serial numbers
Does anybody know a link where i can type model number, than get filter belt size.
I know belt size can change,, but they have to come with a belt from factory and definitly some filters,..
Asked dispatcher he told me NO u think after a million PM's they would make there own.

it's been my experience that with model & serial numbers---------
some manufacturers can't even tell you what "they" put in the machine

If its a RHEEM/RUUD, I can get you the factory belt size...for most units.

Belt size Tool
At my suppliers if you can't tell which belt size it is they have a sizing tool that they put the old belt on and check it. If its off a little bit and you have some adjustment (e.g. adj sheave, or motor mounts) no problem. if you still can't match it up try a notched belt (where you assemble it piece by piece), a little on the pricey side but they last much longer.
As for what to tel the customer...

What Belt
U guyz r saying if i have an air handler 18 feet up with 12 inches from panel 2 wall .
Point is it's a pain to get acess.
I should use linked belts instead of ax belts?????
What belt will last longest
