    Put in a tight one today. Other guys did most work since I'm still on light duty.

    There was access door for water heater in closet, which was full of stuff, but tried for install with no access into space.
    I taped the elec wires to pc wire so could pull wire through hole in unit when pushed into hole, but the wires came loose!
    So helper crawled into air handler(had insides pulled out to lighten) and shoved the wires through. Next time I'll use more tape on the wires.

    Why do the difficult ones always have to be counterflow as well??

    It's converted to downflow. this model a/h is upflow, downflow, horiz right or horiz left.
