I have a Jordan ice machine model #796G and would like to know how to get the owners manual and troubleshooting guide for it.

Have you done a google search?
Have you tried the directory of factory support numbers listed in "tips and tricks of the trade"? It could even be there, but they are all listed together, not alphabetically. Yet.
Also, your local supply house may have a contact number for you.
If none of the above work for you, post back here and we'll dig up something for you.
