imperial convection oven
have a convection oven at swiss chalet in ontario, looks like an Imperial, but can't find a model or serial no anywhere, need a new gas valve, the pilot is lighting fine, but the main valve has 120 volt but is not opening, any suggestion on locaation of model/serial no and also who is the distrib for the parts

I've had to figure these things out to the point of drawing a picture of the equipment, then perusing service manuals back at the office. Nowadays I take a picture of a unit, then hit the books or even go so far as to email the picture to a tech support rep of the suspected manufacturer.

Don't know your logistics situation but if you google "restaurant equipment parts" something's bound to be there that you can use. I order all my parts through my company so I don't go shopping much.
