Boy, I'm a MASHaholic and I don't know Klinger's middle name. Who do you like better, Trapper or BJ? Frank or Charles? One of my favorite episodes is when Col Blake leaves and dies. They said the cast had no idea he would die, until they were handed the script. What a great show.
Although I disagree with the politics of the actors, for 1/2 hour I'm able to forget about that.

Klinger, Maxwell Q. - corporal played by Jamie Farr. He was a corpsman whose duties ranged from carrying litters to guarding the camp. Before he became company clerk when Radar left, he wore dresses and pulled many stunts in his attempt to get a Section 8 discharge. He is promoted to sergeant during season 10.

I love MASH.
Those who dance, appear insane to those who do not hear the music.
Those who believe, appear ignorant to those who do not know God.

I remember it being Q but despite watching every episode probably 10 times each now, don't recall hearing what Q was. OK, what was Col. Potter's middle name or at least initial?

mash was only good the first 2 years, when the new BJ dude and colonel came in, it went downhill.
Hey cockroach, don't bug me! ©

Sherman "T" Potter, husband of Mildred, father of "Ebby" (sp), of Hannibal, MO. Veteran of his third war.
He and I share the same taste in literature, art, and animals. I have a shorter fuse and am much taller, though.

I thought it went to sh!t, too, but got better later on. When Radar left the show, though, it became awkward to watch.
Didn't care for the BJ character too much. Trapper John was a better fit for the show.
Charles, however, was slow coming out of the gate, but the character really started to fit in near the end.

They made a mistake or two early on.
Ugly John should've stayed. He was a hilarious SOB.
The generals were played by different characters.
BTW, Harry Morgan, (Col. Potter) made a one time appearance on the show as a loony tunes General before they picked him for the colonel replacement.
They should've given some more nurses larger parts in the thing. Seemed they never really got much credit, but were always in the background.

What did Margaret Hollahan and Michael Jackson have in common?
