So far, this has worked. Had to keep doing it a few times and re-starting, then running it again being very careful not to open the home page link and only accessing "Tools/ Internet options from another link. I lost my google tool bar and who know what else but they are easy reloads.

Is just your homepage getting hijacked? Or are you seeing weird sex sights in your favorite places too? I got a virus called Trojan.Bookmarker. It changed my homepage to something like webcoolsearch.com and dumped several sex sights into my favorite places. There are 4 or 5 different variants of this virus. The only thing that worked for me was purchasing Norton Internet Security. It hasn't shown up since. However, Comcast doesn't work well with the internet security program so I have to disable it. The anti-virus program works fine.
