Re: md welcome
Yeah, we had women HVAC posters on here before but SOMEBODY (not mentioning any names) trys to put the cybermoves on them and scares them all away.Originally posted by pjs
A woman HVACR person hey ?
We could use a little diversification here.
Now you aren't going to make us be politically correct all the time are you?

Welcome md, your going to feel like a chicken in the rooster shack. If you have the talent and grit it takes to make it in this field. This site is right up your alley.

BTW, welcome to the site, MD.
There are occaisional female posters, but nobody real regular anymore, I guess.
Most of the feminine-style posts are made by males here, anyway.

im not gonna say what im wearing right now, ill leave that up to your imagination. But, i do know that if a company is big enough they have to have so many minorities, just my luck i do fall into that catagory. Now the hard part is trying to find a company that is hiring.

Md I have worked with female techs and installers before, they did a fine job. Sometimes though it seemed they had to work even harder to prove themselves. As far as work goes, there is lots of it, just not always in the area where you live. Don't give up, it is a great field to work in, as for the plumbers crack thing, I think it would depend on how nice yours was.
