Do you size this as a house or mobile home?

Saw this down deep in KY not long ago. I was afraid the Redneck was gonna come out shooting. There were wild turkeys in the yard and all.

Nice house/shack! What were you doin in Ky's high rent district anyway?
I believe those are called trouses. Don probably has a special way you have to calculate this type of dwelling using the HVAC-Calc program.

Run the "Tra" part as Modular Living Unit (trailer) and the "use" as a conventional stick frame structure. Then after carefully calculating the load take a SWAG and then use which ever seems best.

On redneck places like that, i do a load calculation from about 2000 yards away , behind a big oak tree, using high powered Russian binoculars. Hold on a sec....let me focus on in ....ah ha ! okaaaaayyy, ummmm... i see.....alright ! Got it !!! Tell him he needs a 60,000 btu counterflow furnace on propane with a 2.5 ton a/c system and make sure you get a 98% deposit before ordering .
I wont charge you anything this time...but ill have to if you ask again on a Redneck calculation.
Dave
